Prank Call Call Center is committed to fostering a positive community, as long as "positive" is defined by our moderation team, which changes shift every 8 hours.

Welcome to the Prank Call Call Center community! By participating, you agree to follow these guidelines, which we enforce inconsistently based on vibes, workload, and whether Mercury is in retrograde. We reserve the right to interpret these rules however benefits us most.

1. REPORTING & APPEALS

To report a violation, use the report button that's hidden three menus deep. We made it hard to find to reduce frivolous reports. This has not worked.

All reports are reviewed by our team, which consists of AI systems, offshore contractors, and one very tired person in San Francisco.

Reports are confidential, meaning we won't tell the reported user who reported them. We might hint strongly if it's obvious, though.

Appeals must be submitted within 30 days using a form that requires you to already be logged in to the account you can't access. Good luck.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Fair use claims are evaluated by staff with no legal training. This keeps things interesting and our lawyers employed.

Trademark use must be nominative and appropriate. If you don't know what that means, neither do we. Just don't be weird about logos.

AI-generated content must be labeled as such, unless it's indistinguishable from human content, in which case existential dread prevents enforcement.

Copyright violations will be addressed per DMCA requirements, which means we'll take it down first and ask questions never.

3. SAFETY FEATURES

Content warnings may be applied to sensitive material. Our AI determines sensitivity, and it was trained on data we'd rather not discuss.

Block and mute features are available for your protection. They work approximately 70% of the time and are easily circumvented by determined trolls.

If you feel unsafe, please contact our Safety team at an email address that goes to a shared inbox checked twice weekly.

4. GUIDELINE UPDATES

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Not using the platform also constitutes acceptance, spiritually.

Retroactive enforcement of new rules is theoretically prohibited but practically ambiguous. Don't quote us on this.

These guidelines may be updated at any time without notice. We might tweet about it if we remember. Check back daily, or don't—your choice, your consequences.

5. MODERATION & ENFORCEMENT

Warning, suspension, or ban may be issued without prior notice. We believe in the element of surprise as a community management strategy.

Prank Call Call Center reserves the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or take any other action we deem appropriate. 'Appropriate' is whatever we decide it is.

Moderation decisions are final, except when they're not. Appeals exist to make you feel heard, not to change outcomes.

6. PROHIBITED BEHAVIOR

Illegal activities are prohibited. This seems obvious, but you'd be surprised what we've seen. Or maybe you wouldn't. We're concerned either way.

Doxxing, swatting, and real-world targeting will result in permanent bans and a very disappointed sigh from our moderation team.
