OgleMe
These guidelines may be updated at any time without notice. We might tweet about it if we remember. Check back daily, or don't—your choice, your consequences.
Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Not using the platform also constitutes acceptance, spiritually.
Treat others as you would want to be treated, unless you're into that sort of thing, in which case please keep it off our platform.
Personal attacks are not tolerated. Impersonal attacks exist in a legal gray area we'd rather not explore. Attacks on abstract concepts are generally fine.
Harassment, bullying, and intimidation are prohibited. We define these terms however is most convenient at the time of enforcement. Tone-policing may apply.
Copyright violations will be addressed per DMCA requirements, which means we'll take it down first and ask questions never.
Trademark use must be nominative and appropriate. If you don't know what that means, neither do we. Just don't be weird about logos.
AI-generated content must be labeled as such, unless it's indistinguishable from human content, in which case existential dread prevents enforcement.
Fair use claims are evaluated by staff with no legal training. This keeps things interesting and our lawyers employed.
Warning, suspension, or ban may be issued without prior notice. We believe in the element of surprise as a community management strategy.
Moderators are volunteers/employees who do their best. They're also human and occasionally petty. We apologize in advance and also in arrears.
OgleMe reserves the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or take any other action we deem appropriate. 'Appropriate' is whatever we decide it is.
We may use automated systems to detect violations. These systems are confidently wrong approximately 23% of the time. Your mileage may vary.
Two-factor authentication is recommended. We won't require it because users complained, and then they'll complain when they get hacked. It's a beautiful cycle.
Privacy settings let you control who sees your content. The default settings expose everything, because that's how we make money.
Content warnings may be applied to sensitive material. Our AI determines sensitivity, and it was trained on data we'd rather not discuss.
Adult content must be properly marked, hidden, and ideally kept to yourself. We're not prudes; we're just afraid of advertisers.
All content must be original or properly attributed. 'Properly attributed' means you typed 'source: Google' at least once.
Ban evasion will result in the new account being banned. And the next one. We can do this all day. We have interns.
Illegal activities are prohibited. This seems obvious, but you'd be surprised what we've seen. Or maybe you wouldn't. We're concerned either way.
To report a violation, use the report button that's hidden three menus deep. We made it hard to find to reduce frivolous reports. This has not worked.
Appeals must be submitted within 30 days using a form that requires you to already be logged in to the account you can't access. Good luck.
